About me
Hi,my name is Lorivic Lorico Bicomong
You can call me Vic for short.I am a filipino self taught artist.I have been drawing since I was a kid.Growing up besides drawing I got into other interest like dancing and singing that set aside my artistic talent in drawing tho I did some commissions.We migrated into USA back in 1978 then I joined the US Air Force, served my country for almost six years.My first daughter Stefanie was born while I was in Germany.When I got out I got hired in the US Postal Service.In 1991 I was blessed in having twin daughters Janelle and Jamie.I still did not fully put myself into painting because of my other interest.My cousin and I formed a band playing in events and clubs.Under circumstances I moved to Boston in 1995 and met my wife Susan.In 2005 we moved back to California to get closer to my to twin daughters.I finally got back into painting and got my first opportunity to show my artistic talent to public in 2011 when I had a solo show in midtown Sacramento CA.Currently I have been participating in art shows locally and in the Bay Area.I can always say its better late than never and I am not stopping yet especially now that I am retired.I hope you enjoy browsing thru my artworks.
